Recommended Setup:
Gimbal Holster is made to carry setups under 10 lbs, ideal for one gimbal only.

✖️ We don’t recommend keeping your camera on the gimbal while it’s hanging on the holster for long periods, as it may cause stress or damage.

✔️ It’s safe to do briefly, like when you need to grab a quick handheld shot, but for extended use, keep your gimbal folded when holstered.

✔️ For extra security, we recommend using a shoulder strap, waist support strap, and attaching the holster to your belt to keep your setup even more stable and protected.

Suitable for small prime lenses such as 35mm, 50mm, or similar compact lenses.

Creators Spotlight

The concept of the SnapRig Pro Holster is excellent for long production days. It allows you to go hands-free with a DJI or Zhiyun gimbal, which completely relieves your back and arms when you're on set or waiting between takes. The materials feel sturdy, and the stabilization support functions as advertised. However, there are two main areas where the design falls short for real-world production.

First, the sizing is strictly for an average build. As a creator with a larger frame, the included strap is very tight and uncomfortable. SnapRig really should offer an "XL Version" for bigger individuals even if it costs a few extra dollars for the additional material, it would be worth it to wear this comfortably.

Second, the hole at the bottom are designed almost exclusively for standard DJI handle sizes. If you use a Zhiyun or want to run a custom workflow, it's a tight fit. I had to modify mine to slightly widen the opening so it could fit a quick-release system on the bottom of my gimbal. Making the holster base just a bit wider to ensure a secure, universal fit for quick-release plates would turn this into a perfect 5-star product.
It’s a useful piece of gear that gets the job done, but taller or broader videographers should be ready to make some personal adjustments to get the best fit.

The idea and design is very thought out BUT the product doesn't have some kind of "anchor" points and with a heavier setup (DJI RS3 PRO, Nikon ZR, 24-70 2.8S ii) it tends to shift forward sometimes.

Holds up my rs4 mini gimbal well with the tripod stand. This only works as a carry or a belt clip as it can be clipped onto the belt or have the belt wrapped inside it to use a holster. Great way to have access when needed instead of having to find a flat surface to place the gimbal on.

Didn’t realize how useful this would be until my first shoot. Super convenient, solid build, and way better than putting my gimbal on the ground between shots. Makes moving fast so much easier. Highly recommend.
